标题: 真急人，centos5.5到底在哪里下载

我下载了这个，已经是选了最小化安装，
但安装时，还是提示需要其他镜像盘。

论坛上朋友们说，只要下载这一个文件就行了。为什么还要其他盘呢？、

是我错了，在语言支持里，我还是勾选了中文
取消后，现在可以安装了。

安装的时候, 在选择桌面, 或者服务器那个届面, 去掉所有的勾, 也就是不要勾桌面, 或者服务器或者其它的
然后勾上customize now(马上自定义)
下一步
会进去选择组件, 又去掉所有的勾, 就是什么组件软件都不要选
然后下一步去安装
如果前面你做对了的话, 那么一个盘就可以搞定.

不是其中一个. 而是CD版本的CD1.

我都按照你说的做了，所有的勾都已去掉。
但试了很多次都不行。

证明你没做对, 有勾没去掉. 或者设置了软件RAID都会导致这个情况.

我装centos没个一千也有几百次了. 都是这样弄的.
说来也巧, bear (WHT的管理员) 前不久也有跟你一样的问题, 我给了他同样的答案, 他后来就搞定了

         an upgrade or dist-upgrade. Please be aware that the overall
         progress meter will be incorrect as the size of the package files
         cannot be known in advance.

   upgrade
         upgrade is used to install the newest versions of all packages
         currently installed on the system from the sources enumerated in
         /etc/apt/sources.list. Packages currently installed with new
         versions available are retrieved and upgraded; under no
         circumstances are currently installed packages removed, or packages
         not already installed retrieved and installed. New versions of
         currently installed packages that cannot be upgraded without
         changing the install status of another package will be left at
         their current version. An update must be performed first so that
         apt-get knows that new versions of packages are available.

Debian的安全和稳定是因为他的更新周期长并且大部分都是使用老的稳定版的工具
CentOS差不多人人都知道它差不多就是RedHat的镜像版
而RedHat的试验场那是Fedora
